Returning to Bosnia 2 – Preparation Day

We’re at the end of day two already and thoughts now are on working with our clients over the next two weeks. We’ve spent much of today planning the group sessions and thinking through how we will be monitoring results. We now know that we’ll be in the Healing Hands Clinic in Sarajevo (conveniently sited across the courtyard from our apartment), in Hadzici and Novi Grad, both around a 15 minute drive.

There has, of course, been time for a meal out in the evening. This time further uphill to a lovely restaurant where we could enjoy the view, while partaking of some excellent food, music and great service.

If you listen carefully, you may be able to hear the sound of the call to prayer. Its lovely to see the many mosques whose minarets are beautifully lit up at night. Standing out too is the Cathedral and famous Library which was rebuilt in recent years after being all but destroyed during the war along with thousands of original historical documents.

Its time to sleep now, tomorrow will be a busy day. ‘Til next time.
